The Legacy is born…

The Fogo Posto was formed in the spring of 2008 by Zeldan Zarutha and Roger Lestavius. Before that, they had been working together for 7 years and now wanted to do something fresh and innovative. They found two other characters, Barbie Bardot and Jamal Angustio, who joined this macnificant circle of heroes. Together they wrote, recorded and mixed their first album in just 6 months.

The Fogo Posto released their first album “Sacrificio De La Primavera” in the autumn of 2008.

It’s a theme album about a mystical journey in an ancient land of Gypsys and Wizards. There’s Witch burning and other unpleasant stuff happening. How the story ends, you will have to find out for yourself…

The Fogo Posto released their album in Equal Dreams (the fair music market) www.equaldreams.com/thefogoposto. Equal Dreams will offer the album straight from the artist to the customer.

Roger and Zeldan started to work with their second album in the winter of 2009. From the beginning they realized that it would be a long and stormy road before the album was finished.

During recordings the bands fourth member Jamal Angustio (Fist Of God) exploded in suspicious circumstances. The bandmembers were in a state of shock but decided to continue on with the three remaining members, Zeldan, Roger and Barbie.

“The Legend Of Johnny Ghost” is an ambitious masterpiece that won’t leave you cold. Music swells from easy acoustic feelings to speedmetal headbanging and 80´s electrodance folk beats…

The Fogo Posto´s 2nd album “The Legend Of Johnny Ghost” was mastered in October 2010. The band is looking for a record label and other co-operators. “The Legend Of Johnny Ghost” will be released in 2011 one way or another.
